| ■ Introduction to the Institute |
The Korean Language Education Center of Woosuk University opened on August 31, 2004 to teach Korean language and culture to the youth of the world. Currently, it is teaching Korean language and culture to the students from China, Russia, Japan, Vietnam and Mongolia, etc. |
| ■ Characteristics |
The Center offers a systematic education process corresponding to the learners' Korean langage skills, maximizes the effects of education through special activities and verifies the improvement of students' language skill by evaluating Korean language ability frequently. In addition, it provides students with various culture experience programs to understand and live the actual life of Korea and allows students to have useful and various experiences in Korea through participating in clubs and communities of the university. |

Following the academy schedule of Woosuk University, it is operated for two semesters per year. |

| : Classes are divided by Korean language ability (1 ~ 6 levels) |
| ■ Curriculum |
: Living Korean Language
Practice, Korean Culture Experience, Korean Grammar, Speaking Korean,
Korean Listening Comprehension, Reading Korean, Korean Language
Ability Test (7 subjects in total) |
| ■ Qualification for Application |
| : Non-native speakers of Korean who graduated from high schools or higher educational organizations. |

④ Financial Plan for Tuition 1 Copy (Download from the homepage)
⑤ Certificates of Graduation and Grades (both notarized) 1 copy each
⑥ Certificates of residence and social security IDs of the applicants and their parents (photocopies are fine) 1 copy each
⑦ Parents' certificates of holding office and certificates of income tax payment. 1 copy each
⑧ Receipts of wire transfer or currency exchange above $3,100 1 copy
⑨ Fees for application and process: 100,000 KRW

※ USD 1,200$ for a 16 weeks’ and USD 1,850$ 24-weeks’ course
- The tuition is subject to change based on the exchange rate. |

- Additional documents may be required when submitting documents
- The university will check all the documents through references and school records inside and outside Korea
- Candidates will be cancelled if any fabrication or falsification of documents has been discovered. |

1. To promote a wide understanding of Korean traditional culture and customs.
2. To prepare students for Korean language skills necessary to study major subjects in Korean.
